I’ve been volunteering with Our House since 2020.

I’ve been volunteering with Our House since 2020. It is an amazing organization. I do much of the delivering so I get to see first hand the good we are doing for people. When I deliver to people, I see the joy of the children involved. A lot of the people that we help are struggling just to provide a nice safe place for their families. We are able, with the generous donations of people, helping them to build a better life for their loved ones. I see kids just wanting to be kids and just wanting to live normal lives. That is hard to do when basic needs are struggling to be met. The innocence of these children really touched my heart. I also see how this organization touches the lives of us volunteers. I take my kids sometimes with me and I have seen change in them. They see how others struggle, and it has seemed to make them more thankful and generous to others. There are so many people willing to help in different ways to achieve the goal of making our world a better place, one family at a time.”
