Homemade Vegan Soup

Charity

The project provides both nourishment and spiritual support, fostering a sense of community and hope.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The Homemade Vegan Soup Dr. Bezerra de Menezes is designed to nourish both the physical body and the spirit. It serves as a source of love, respect, and dignity, channeling positive energy and care through a wholesome meal delivered to families in need. This document outlines the project’s purpose, preparation guidelines, and delivery process to ensure harmony and organization among volunteers.

PURPOSE AND PHILOSOPHY:

  • The project provides both nourishment and spiritual support, fostering a sense of community and hope.
  • Volunteers are encouraged to maintain harmony, keep their thoughts elevated, and engage in prayer, channeling love into each step of the preparation process.
  • This intentional energy transmits healing and positivity to all who receive it.
  • Every Sunday, soup is delivered directly to those in need. Along with each container of soup, recipients receive a fresh loaf of bread and an uplifting message.
  • In this way, The Vegan Soup Dr. Bezerra de Menezes becomes more than just a meal—it serves as an open door to connection, faith, and community support.

OUTLINE FOR STARTING WORK:

  • Prayer and Gospel Reading: Begin with a simple prayer, then open a random page of the Gospel and read a passage, reflecting on its moral lessons as applied to everyday life.
  • Harmony and Focus: Maintain a calm and focused environment, avoiding unnecessary conversations. Play harmonious background music if possible to create a serene atmosphere.
  • Prayer and Blessing: Once the soup is ready, gather for a prayer, placing hands over the soup to bless it and channel love, light, and healing energies for the recipients.
  • Guided Vibrations: Pray for fraternity, peace, and balance for humanity, leaders, and those in need. Focus on health and harmony for body and spirit, asking blessings for families and volunteers involved in the project.
  • Respectful Environment: Avoid trivial or negative discussions, jokes, or unnecessary comments to maintain a respectful and harmonious atmosphere.
  • Reflect and Share: Volunteers may share intuitions or inspirations during general comments as a means of reinforcing positive energy.

SERVING AND DELIVERY PROCESS:

  • Packaging: Place soup in individual containers, enough to serve approximately two people per container. Package bread separately in Ziploc bags.
  • Uplifting Message: Include a short, encouraging message to inspire hope and positivity, along with an invitation to Tabernacle Church.
  • Delivery: Volunteers distribute the soup to the families’ doorsteps, ensuring each delivery is carried out with care and respect.

GUIDELINES FOR MAINTAINING POSITIVE ENERGY:

  • Avoid over-seasoning the soup (e.g., pepper or processed seasonings) to preserve the soup’s curative spiritual qualities.
  • Remember that the Fraternal Soup is not only nourishment; it’s also an act of love and generosity.
  • Volunteers should keep positive thoughts and feelings during preparation, as this energy is believed to have a regenerative effect on the recipients.

ABOUT DR. BEZERRA:

Dr. Bezerra de Menezes (1831–1900) was a Brazilian doctor, politician, and writer. Known as the “Doctor of the Poor” for his dedication to medicine and for providing free care to those in need, Dr. Bezerra de Menezes is revered for his commitment to charity and the well-being of others, regardless of their social status.

Dr. Bezerra de Menezes once said in the book Garimpeiros do Além (Beyond the Diggers):

“So many slums, heaps of fragile beings, sick, destitute; so many remote neighborhoods, concealing poverty, so much pain, my children! We extend our arms in all directions; let us do whatever is possible in favor of so much suffering.”

Let us honor this message by channeling love and light into each bowl of soup and into each life it touches.
